Xun Wang is a New York–based artist born in Guizhou, China. Working across sculpture, installation, drawing, and moving image, her material-based practice explores transformation, memory, and the shifting relationships between human and non-human worlds.

Wang received her MFA from the Rinehart School of Sculpture at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018. She has exhibited in the United States and internationally, including a recent two-person exhibition at Brownie Project, Shanghai, and exhibitions at 440 Gallery, New York, where she received the Juror’s Choice Award. She has participated in residency programs including the Swatch Art Peace Hotel and the NARS Foundation. Her collaborative project was funded by the Queens Council on the Arts in 2022, and she was awarded a FY25 Support for Artists grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.
